Ritu Barkotoky

About Me

I am a senior HR executive with 18+ years of experience building and leading HR functions in complex, high-growth, and PE-backed environments — including manufacturing, automotive, and multi-site operations.

My career spans organizations including ZF, Honda Manufacturing of Indiana, Wolverine Advanced Materials, MISO Energy, Amsted Automotive, and Slate Auto.

I founded Thrive Impact Advisory to bring senior HR leadership to organizations that need it — on a fractional, interim, or project basis — while also pursuing full-time Senior HR Leadership opportunities in the Detroit and West Michigan market.

I am also an ICF-certified executive coach with hundreds of hours of coaching experience, helping leaders at every level lead with clarity, resilience, and impact.

Outside of work, I'm a mom, wife, workout and dance enthusiast, and I enjoy cooking for my family and friends. I believe the best workplaces are built by leaders who know themselves — and I bring that belief to every engagement.
